Coworking redefined & redesigned
Matter is a new digital hub and incubator for bioscience & pharmaceutical startup companies in Chicago. Idea Booth was tasked with redesigning the website and building the organization's Intranet.
Working in close collaboration with the Matter team, Idea Booth engaged stakeholders and key members of the staff to design a website that showcases the co-working space while facilitating greater engagement from a broad community of researchers, medical professionals, and entrepreneurs.
The Matter Intranet serves members, staff, and industry leaders offering a central hub for collaboration, resource sharing, event management, and community engagement.
User experience & interface design
After much collaboration and a series of interviews with Matter members, staff, and key stakeholders, our team came up with ideas on how improve the user experience while refining the brand.
A new visual language was created by exploring new fonts, establishing a color palette, building a library of layout components, and setting the right tone for the photography. Additionally, we re-defined the content structure and laid out high-level wireframes to accommodate these changes.
Based on our findings, our design team designed all pages, taking into consideration various screen sizes. The user interfaces across the website and intranet were meticulously designed to encourage user interaction and collaboration.
